About the Role

The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and calibration of weighing scales and related equipment, with a mix of workshop work and customer-site visits across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Tasks: Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial and retail weighing scales.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and servicing of weighbridges and other weighing systems.
  • Component Repair: Inspect and replace load cells, weighing indicators, wiring, printers, and related components.
  • Technical Configuration: Configure weighing indicators, basic software settings, and communication parameters while carrying out routine preventive maintenance.
  • Reporting & Communication: Complete accurate service reports and calibration records while communicating technical findings to customers and teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 0–3 years in equipment service, maintenance, calibration, or instrumentation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities, a basic understanding of electrical wiring and schematics, and basic computer skills.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UAE.
  • Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is a strong advantage.

Experience with weighing scales, load cells, weighing indicators, weighbridges, or calibration equipment is an advantage.
